Circularity describes a shift away from a linear economic model, which is based on a 'take-make-consume-throw away' pattern towards a circular economy that minimises waste through reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products. Beyond this, circularity speaks to a more regenerative way of doing business where we work in harmony with nature's wisdom.
Linear (old way)
Circular (better way)
Our purpose is to demonstrate that a circular economy approach to property management can deliver more long-term value for asset owners and developers than their 'business and usual' approach.
In doing so we will be able to redirect significant capital towards our mission of 'making circularity happen' across the UK.
WHAT WE DO?
Circular UK is a platform and a movement designed to accelerate urgent and meaningful innovation at the intersection of real estate, food, technology and energy.
These are the foundational industries from which we believe systemic and scalable change can emerge.
HOW WE DO IT
Hybrid retail strategy targeting high-potential residential town centres
Circular UK delivers on two social and environmental objectives:
Regenerate residential town centres by transforming vacant retail spaces into circular economy incubators that strengthen communities and provide meaningful employment opportunities to local people.
Create an ecosystem of impact driven and interdependent micro-enterprises that work together to demonstrate that a circular economy is not only possible but also more profitable and scalable over the long- term.
We aim to launch our first Circular UK incubator called the House of Transformation (HOT) in Hackney.
